There have never been more activities made available for the holiday maker to enjoy whilst on the beach than there are today, most are fun, easy, affordable and suitable for the whole family so why can’t holiday diving be like that?
Well, traditional scuba diver training programmes are designed to teach people how to dive initially to depths of 18 metres from a boat so require the individual to learn a considerable amount of information to do the activity safely.
Diver training programmes like these are expensive, take up a large percentage of the holiday makers valuable time and are too extreme for those whose only desire is to learn how to swim with the fish from the beach in the shallows where it is light and colourful.
Thankfully Microdive have produced a range of unique leisure activities to support those who only wish to explore in the shallows and which the whole family can enjoy from the beach environment.
Our Discoverer, Adventurer and Explorer programmes are perfect for those diving holiday activities, which will enable you to experience your first snorkelling and diving experiences as well as the ability to become certified to dive to a depth of 3 metres in just one day.
After you have completed the Explorer programme you may wish to upgrade to become a Microdive 9 metre certified Open water diver which can be achieved by participating in just one additional days training.
Both 3 and 9 metre certification courses offer the facility for you to complete the academic and pool training portions prior to your holiday, leaving just the qualification dives to complete whilst away and giving you more time to Microdive and become a certified Microdiver!
All of our courses are written with your safety in mind, are approved by the H.S.E (Health and safety Executive) and for added protection come with unique built in consumer insurance cover through Lloyds of London.
Microdive is the only diver-training agency in the world to offer 3 and 9 metre diver certification programmes, allowing you the individual easier access to the under water realm.
